The story

Farmer Noah had six scarecrows stationed across his farm—each proudly guarding a different field: pumpkins, vegetables, corn, oats, rye, and soybeans. By day, they stood tall and still, keeping watch over the crops just as they were meant to. But by night, the scarecrows came to life—and got up to all kinds of mischief. They danced through the rows, played hide-and-seek in the shadows, and, if they were of age, socialized at The Thirsty Bale (a scarecrow run establishment in a local abandoned hay loft). One morning, Farmer Noah found they'd gone too far. Under the silvery light of the full moon, someone had cut winding paths into the cornfield, creating a sprawling maze filled with twists and dead ends. Someone—one of the scarecrows—had taken one of Farmer Noah’s pieces of equipment and made the maze. Now it’s your job to step into the corn maze and follow the trail of ten scattered clues. Use your wits to eliminate suspects and uncover which scarecrow is guilty and which piece of equipment they used for their crime. Can you solve the mystery of The Maze Maker?

Pierre
Watcher of the Oats
With a handlebar mustache, an old flannel shirt, and a poetic soul, Pierre is the romantic of the group. Though a bit aloof, he’s charming and dreamy—and always seems to vanish just before mischief is discovered. Could the mystery and artistry of the maze have been his midnight masterpiece?
Ben
Sentinel of the Rye
Ben is the laid-back, overall-clad scarecrow who loves baseball, baking, and big belly laughs. He guards the rye with a grin and a slow drawl, always humming old country tunes. At night, he’s the one who brings snacks to the scarecrow gatherings and tells ghost stories so vivid, even the crows stay quiet. But was that just a distraction while the real prank was underway?
Jack
Protector of the pumpkins
With his pumpkin head, flannel shirt, and mischievous grin, Jack is the life of the party. He thrives on fun, jokes, and just a bit of mayhem. He’s the fastest runner in the bunch and always the first to suggest a game of hide-and-seek.

She’s known for her stern lectures, surprise candy in her pockets, and stories about “the old days of scarecrowin’.” But don’t let her grandma vibes fool you—Gladys still has plenty of spark. Could this matriarch have been stirring up a bit of fun when no one was looking?
